About Miracle Potion Cafe & Tea Room
Miracle Potion is a whimsical, pink-themed cafe in downtown San Diego offering handcrafted pastries, specialty lattes, loose-leaf teas and an elegant High Afternoon Tea experience in a charming setting
Miracle Potion Cafe & Tea Room is a tea house in San Diego, California. It is listed at 690 W B St, San Diego, CA 92101, which places it among the local businesses of San Diego that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as cafe, caterer, coffee shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in San Diego. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in California are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 amβ3 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Miracle Potion Cafe & Tea Room at (619) 354-9730; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is mymiraclepotion.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 247 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had the afternoon tea experience for my cousins birthday and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is so pretty, charming and fun. The list of teas has many choices, I had the passion fruit. The service is excellent. The food is pleasing to the eye and taste good. The mini desserts were fun and great to try. The mango and lemon was my favorite. It's a great place to break up the monotony.

I really enjoyed my pink energy refresher. The sparkling pink lemonade was so refreshing, and the energy boost was very fruity. The purple papaya berry tea on top was not only aesthetically pleasing but added a very natural and subtle touch. Customer service was excellent. The staff is very friendly. I will definitely be back to try some of their single-origin Columbian coffee.

Someone told me about this place and I am sure glad they did. I think βlovelyβ describes it very well. Itβs a small space but itβs beautiful. And more importantly, the food is top notch. The coffees, teas, pastries, and sandwiches are wonderful. Such attention to detail. The sandwich toothpicks have a rose on them, the teabags have a butterfly on the string, the plates are heart-shaped, and everything is pink. The coffee is all single-sourced and roasted by the owner. AND they serve high teas.
